KEY LEADER
When the church is going, things get busy. It is easy to get so caught up in doing that you forget to develop your own leadership and the leadership of others. This competency is dedicated to the topic of leadership and giving you tools to help you raise your own leadership ability and raise up leaders around you.
Leading is not about people serving you, rather it is about you serving people. We all have a default leadership style. That style has probably served you well up to this point, but as your church and team grow your leadership ability will need to grow as well. As we walk through the key leader competency we will not only be looking at how you grow as a leader, we will also be working to help you add different leadership styles to your tool kit.
As you walk through this competency find a few people that can give you honest feedback about your own leadership style. Where are you strong? Where do you need to grow?
