The Leadership Pipeline has become a popular concept since the book by that name came out in 2000. But few people understand it and even fewer understand how to capitalize on it for their organization. In this weeks video I share the origin of the leadership pipeline. Many attribute the approach to Ram Charan but an HR consultant named Walt Mahler was actually the one who originated the idea. Later on Steven Drotter, Ram Charan and James Noel contributed their ideas and wrote the book The Leadership Pipeline.
