The most important thing to develop in a church is the mission and vision. This is the piece that will drive every area of your church. It will be the thing that all decisions are made around. A strong mission and vision should be simple, memorable, and outward focused. A strong mission and vision is one that rallies people around living out the great commission in your unique context. It should be something that shares your heart for the lost in the community. Churches that connect the disconnected have strong mission and vision that rallies the church and keeps people focused on the most important thing, sharing the gospel with community God has placed them in.
